The Water Resistant Backer Board is a moisture-proof and waterproof wall base material. Kitchen and bathroom walls need a base layer before tiling. This base layer must be waterproof. Otherwise, leaks and mold will appear later. Our Luckyfoam Water Resistant Backer Board provides this base layer. It is made from extruded polystyrene. Its structure is closed-cell. Standard Size for Easy Installation
The Water Resistant Backer Board measures 2440 by 1220 mm. This is the most common board size. Standard thicknesses are 10 mm, 12 mm, and 20 mm. The compressive strength is 200 kPa. The thermal conductivity is ≤0.034 W/(m·K). The water absorption rate is ≤1.5%. This low number means the board does not absorb water at all. The dimensional stability is ≤1.5% after 48 hours at 70°C. The density is 25 to 32 kg/m³. The standard color is blue. We hold ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications. We have supplied this board to Wenzhou MixC and Pingyang Wanda Plaza. The bathroom and kitchen walls in those commercial projects used our Water Resistant Backer Board. The results have been excellent.
